A long-term research consortium is literally well advised to involve experienced individuals who can closely monitor the project. Therefore, the research group sought to establish a scientific advisory board as early as the application phase. This board comprises distinguished experts from various responsible positions within the scientific community. The panel combines research and project experience in international sociology and philosophy of science , as well as in the natural sciences and higher education development .
